Empower Counseling created the Open Empowerment Counseling Program to provide quality, accessible counseling to meet the needs of clients seeking mental health services that are uninsured and low income.
There is no charge or insurance required for the service.
Open Empowerment Counseling services will be provided by a skilled Masters Level Graduate Student for the duration of their internship.
Corina is currently a graduate student at the University of North Dakota seeking her Master of Social Work. She has earned two bachelor’s degrees: one in Social Work from Minot State University, and one in Human Development and Family Science from North Dakota State University. She received both in May of 2022.
Corina has experience working with ages 4 to adulthood in many settings. She holds the utmost respect for diversity and believes that our differences are what make us special. She hopes to create a safe and comfortable space for all to feel welcome. She approaches therapy with an open mind and heart, embracing the idea that there's no 'one-size-fits-all' solution. Corina brings an energetic, hopeful, and humorous outlook to the therapy process.
Outside of her education and professional endeavors, Corina enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She has a 14-year-old little white dog named Tiny that she would do literally anything for. She loves all types of music (but loves r&b), dancing, any movie made in the 90s or 2000s, traveling, and reading (mostly fiction).
